Fr. Avelino Chico SJ

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Fr. Avelino Chicoma Bundo Chico, S.J. is an Angolan Jesuit priest born in 1979 in Lobito, Angola. He holds degrees in Philosophy, Theology, and a PhD in Contemporary International Migration and Development Cooperation. Since 2025, he has served as Head of Office at the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development at the Vatican, after previously coordinating African migrant and refugee programs. His professional focus includes migration policy, humanitarian action, and social justice.

Prof. Rocco Buttiglione

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Rocco Buttiglione (born 1948 in Gallipoli, Italy) is an Italian political philosopher, university professor and politican. He studied law in Turin and Rome and later became a full professor of political science at Saint Pius V University in Rome. He also held the Chair of Philosophy of Politics, Economy and Society at the Internationale Akademie für Philosophie im Fürstentum Liechtenstein. He served as a Member of the European Parliament (1999–2001) and later held senior government positions, including Minister for European Affairs (2001–2005) and Minister of Cultural Heritage (2005–2006). He was also Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Deputies (2008–2013) and is a member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. His work focuses on political philosophy, Christian social teaching, and European integration. He is married to Maria Pia, and they have four daughters and twelve grandchildren.​​​​​​

Prof. Ryszard Legutko​
Ryszard Antoni Legutko (born 24 December 1949 in Kraków, Poland) is a Polish philosopher, academic, and politician. He is a professor of philosophy at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, specializing in ancient philosophy and political theory. He has authored numerous books and co-founded the Centre for Political Thought. Legutko served as Minister of National Education in 2007 and was a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2009 to 2024, where he also held senior leadership roles. His work focuses on political philosophy, higher education, and European public affairs.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
